Information Regarding DHS Alumni Web Site

Howdy Folks

This page is intended to help find someone to serve as a Backup Webmaster for this web site and someone to take over as Webmaster someday should I become incapacitated or for some reason not be able to continue. I am now 73 years old this year and while I hope to be able to continue as webmaster for many years to come, I feel that it would be a shame to loose this web site unique to DHS should something happen to me.

Ideally, I would like to find someone to serve as both Backup Webmaster and a "technically aware" Assistant Webmaster but that is not necessary.

The requirements for the Backup would be that he or she have a basic knowledge of html and a willingness to devote time to an interesting hobby. I believe that my being "retired" allows me the free time to pursue this hobby.

The technical requirements of the "technically aware" Assistant Webmaster would include a working knowledge of using data bases in web sites. There are a number of upgrades that I would like to make on the site but am unable to because of my limited knowledge regarding data bases. If someone is out that would like to volunteer to help design upgrades to the current site, I would be very interested in communicating with them. This person would have to know how to tie in "data bases" which I don't know how to do.
